Briar Creek Golf Course is located just outside of Rotterdam, NY in the Capital District. We are close from anywhere and many golfers travel from Albany, Schenectady, and Troy to experience our fun course. Sure these days everyone just “Googles it” but below you will find the directions in case you are using a map.
From NYS Thruway:
Take the NYS Thruway to exit 25A (I-88). Go through toll booths, stay in right lane for .2 tenths of a mile. Take exit 25 (Route 7, Rotterdam/Schenectady) Go up ramp .1 tenth of a mile to the stop sign and take a left and proceed .1 tenth of a mile to Route 7. Take a right at the light and travel .6 tenths of a mile, and take a left on to Pangburn Road and travel .8 tenths of a mile and Briar Creek Golf Course will be on your left.
From Rotterdam:
From the Five Corners take Route 7 West for 3.1 tenths of a mile. Take a left on to Pangburn Road for .8 tenths of a mile and Briar Creek Golf Course will be on your left.
From the East:
Albany (Guilderland) Route 20 West to Route 158. Take a right on to Route 158 (Ma’s Gas Station) for .6 tenths of a mile. Take a left on to West Old State Road for 1.9 tenths of a mile to the yield sign. Go through Yield sign (Route 406 West) for .2 tenths of a mile. Take a Right on to Pangburn Road travel 1.2 tenths of a mile. Briar Creek Golf Course will be on your Right.
From Downtown Schenectady:
Take 890 West to Exit 2A, Campbell Road, Route 337. Travel Campbell Road for 1.0 miles and Rotterdam Square Mall will be on your left. Travel up the hill and take your immediate right on to Burdeck Street. Travel Burdeck Street, you will come to a fork in the road, stay to the right and travel 1.6 miles on (3 traffic lights) to Route 7 West. Take a Right on Route 7 and travel 1.6 miles and take a left on to Pangburn Road. Travel .8 tenths of a mile and Briar Creek will be located on your left.
